KATHMANDU, July 9: The government has tabled the Civil Servants Adjustment Bill 2073 in the parliament on Sunday.
The bill once endorsed will pave way for adjusting current civil servants in federal, provincial and local government bodies.
Deputy Prime Minister and Education Minister Gopal Man Shrestha presented the bill in the parliament on behalf of Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba, who also oversees the portfolio of Ministry of General Administration.
Shrestha said the bill was necessary to adjust the current civil servants in various tiers of government in order to ensure effective service delivery to the people.
