Civil Bank to provide subsidized agro loan

KATHMANDU, Aug 3: A trilateral agreement has been made between Melamchi Municipality, Civil Bank, and Idea Studio on commercializing agriculture sector in the Melamchi area.

According to the agreement, the three organizations will collaborate and provide technical training to local farmers and also provide subsidized agriculture loans to them.

The agreement was signed by Dambar Bahadur Aryal, mayor of Melamchi Municipality, Govinda Gurung, CEO of Civil Bank, and Tshering Lama, chairman of Idea Studio. “This is a beneficial scheme for the development of agriculture in the area. We will introduce such schemes in other areas as well,” said Gurung.
