KATHMANDU, June 12: Civil Bank Limited has unveiled a new saving product named 'Chandra Surya Saving Account', offering interest rate of 10 percent per year. The account can be opened with a minimum deposit of Rs 10,000, according to a bank statement. "The bank provides free Internet, SMS and mobile banking facility along with ATM card and check book for customers of this saving product," it added. Moreover, the bank is also providing free locker service as well as buying insurance cover of Rs 500,000 for all account holders under this scheme. Meanwhile, the bank has announced that it would offer 12.22 percent interest on fixed deposit of 222 days.
