KATHMANDU, Jan 30: Citizens Bank International Ltd has received Certificate of Merit in SAARC Anniversary Award for Corporate Governance and Private Sector Banks (including cooperatives).
According to the bank, it received the honor at the SAFA Best Presented Annual Reports Awards 2015 organized by South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) on Friday.

Issuing a statement, the bank said that SAFA has been distributing the award annually on the basis of monitoring done by SAFA’s Committee for Improvement in Transparency, Accountability & Governance of the Published Annual Reports.
The bank has already received the Best Presented Annual Report (BPA), 2015 distributed by Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nepal and Best Bank in Public Sector distributed by World HRD Congress, according to the statement.
