KATHMANDU, August 18: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) in Surkhet has seized the documents of Shree Jana Namuna Secondary School in Birendranagar Municipality-8.
Based on the complaint and information that the school had collected money from the students without issuing receipts during admission, the team sent from the CIAA Office, Surkhet, seized the documents.
The team has already recovered Rs 276,690 collected from various students without issuing them receipts from the said school and seized the amount and related documents.
Similarly, other community schools declared free by the government are also being investigated by the CIAA office on the complaint that they have been charging fees under different headings without issuing any receipt.
