KATHMANDU, Sept 11: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority has on Sunday arrested Surya Prakash Pariyar, a tameldar (process server) at the Kathmandu District Court, red-handed, while taking Rs 35 thousand in bribe.
CIAA spokesman Jeev Raj Koirala said a team from the commission nabbed Pariyar from Budhanilkantha, acting on a complaint and an application that he had been asking for bribe from a service-seeker under various pretext for the purpose of serving a court notice. The CIAA stated further investigation is on in this connection.
