KATHMANDU, Dec 7: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed a corruption case against 55 individuals and one company in connection with financial irregularities at Pokhara Regional International Airport (PRIA). The case is set to be registered at the Special Court on Sunday.

According to the CIAA, corruption amounting to Rs 8.36 billion occurred during the construction of the international airport. The CIAA is preparing to charge five former ministers including Ram Sharan Mahat and Post Bahadur Bogati in the case.
