KATHMANDU, Jan 28: Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Tuesday filed a corruption case against the chief administrator of Guthi Corporation Narayan Chaudhary and deputy administrator Jaya Prasad Regmi on the charge of corruption.
The duos have been accused of receiving a bribe of Rs 800,000 from the service seekers.
In another case, the anti-graft body also filed a corruption case against Bishnu Hari Pudasaini, an account officer at Infrastructure Development Office, Lalitpur along with a former teacher of Shahid Smarak Secondary School, Banke Udayaraj Yadav. Yadav has been accused of submitting fake academic certificates while Pudasaini had allegedly taken bribe money from the service seeker.
CIAA also held a computer operator at Internal Revenue Office, Bharatpur of Chitwan red-handed while he was taking a bribe amount of Rs 10,000.
