CIAA files case against survey officer

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: The Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Thursday filed a case at the Special Court against Prem Chandra Jha, survey officer of Tikathali Survey Office in Lalitpur for receiving bribe from service seekers. 

Jha was arrested by the CIAA team while receiving Rs 150,000 from service seekers. In the charge sheet filed at the Special Court, the CIAA has demanded recovery of the bribe money and maximum punishment in line with the Corruption Prevention Act-2002.
