Closer to home in Kathmandu, photography enthusiasts will get to feast their eyes on a selection of pieces from the very exhibition at The Bakery Cafe, Sundhara, on March 18 and 19 from 6 to 7:30 PM.
Featured at the exhibition are works by a host of 14 talented global artistes.
The presentation on Friday will be led by Munem Wasif, and on Saturday it will be Tanzim Wahab who will be discussing the showcased works.
Nayantara Gurung Kakshapati, photographer and organizer of the event, says, “This is a rare opportunity for Nepali photographers to be exposed to some great artistic works. Chobi Mela is a grand international festival.

Being so close to Bangladesh, we would be missing out on something if we didn’t get an exposure to the event.”
She further mentions that the presenters are both teachers at one of the most prestigious photography schools in South Asia – Pathshala, The South Asian Media Academy – and photography enthusiasts will be able to learn a lot from them.
