12.08 percent of total COVID-19 deaths in the country has been recorded in Chitwan
CHITWAN, Nov 3: As many as 116 people have died of the novel coronavirus disease (COVID-19) in Chitwan district as of Monday.
Of the total number of people who succumbed to COVID-19, 64 are from Chitwan and the remaining are from 12 other districts.
As of Monday, as many as 984 people have died of COVID-19 across the country of which 116 were recorded in Chitwan. The COVID-19 death rate of the country is 0.55 percent while that in Chitwan stands at 1.08 percent.
COVID-19 death rate is comparatively higher in Chitwan than other districts in Nepal.
Similarly, 5,923 people have been infected with COVID-19 in Chitwan district,so far.
