Chitwan bans entry of public vehicles

KATHMANDU, March 23; Chitwan has restricted entry of any public vehicles from other districts as a precautionary measure against coronavirus outbreak.

KATHMANDU, March 23; Chitwan has restricted entry of any public vehicles from other districts as a precautionary measure against coronavirus outbreak. 


According to Police Inspector Daya Krishna Bhatta at District Traffic Office Chitwan, the district administration has deployed police forces at the entry points to restrict the entry of public vehicles from other districts.

The government of Nepal has also banned long-distance vehicles in the country from today owing to a possible outbreak of COVID-19. 


Chitwan Traffic Office has established checkpoints along the major entry points of district like Lothar, Pulchowk, Muglin and Muwa Khola. However, the private and public transport vehicles have been allowed to play the roads inside the district.
