KATHMANDU, March 27: State Councilor and Minister for Foreign Affairs of the People's Republic of China, Wang Yi is holding a courtesy meeting with President Bidya Devi Bhandari today.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Minister Wang will pay a courtesy call on President Bidya Devi Bhandari at her residence. Similarly, he is also holding talks with CPN-UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal today.

During Foreign Minister Wang Yi's visit to Nepal, Nepal and China have inked various nine agreements ranging from a detailed feasibility study of the Kerung-Kathmandu railway, vaccination against COVID-19 and increasing Chinese aid to Nepal's economic development. Minister Wang, who is on a three-day visit to Nepal, is scheduled to return to Beijing this afternoon.
