KATHMANDU, June 22: The five-member Chinese delegation headed by Kong Xuan You, Assistant Minister of Foreign Affairs, China which arrived here to take part in the 11th Nepal-China Joint Consultation Mechanism Meeting returned home this morning.
Earlier on Wednesday, the delegation called on Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs Krishna Bahadur Mahara, respectively.
Likewise, the delegation visited the Basantapur Durbar Square to take stock of post-earthquake works undergoing there and also visited the Minbhawan-based Civil Service Hospital built with the support from the People's Republic of China.
Chinese Ambassador for Nepal Ms Yu Hong and senior officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were at Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) to see off the Chinese delegation. RSS
