Chinese Defense Minister Chang in Nepal

KATHMANDU, March 23: Chinese Defense Minister General Chang Wanquan has arrived in Nepal on a three-day official visit.

Leading a 19-member Chinese delegation,  Chang has arrived here in Nepal at the invitation of Defense Minister Balkrishna Khand.

Minister Khand and Defense Secretary  Shreedhar Sapkota received him at the VVIP lounge at the Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA). 

Chang is scheduled to hold a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal and Defense Minister Khanda today itself.  

He will also pay a courtesy call to President Bidhya Devi Bhandari at the latter's official residence in Sheetal Niwas. 

Prime Minister  Dahal is scheduled to fly to China to attend Boao Forum for Asia (BFA) international conferecne this evening.
