KATHMANDU, Aug 23: A Chinese Art Exhibition has been kicked off at Nepal Art Council, Babar Mahal from today.
National Assembly Chairperson Ganesh Prasad Timalsina inaugurated the two-day exhibition aimed at enhancing cultural ties between Nepal and China.
NA Chairperson Timalsina believed that the artworks would illustrate the Chinese lifestyle and the natural landscapes in the northern neighbour.
The exhibition was held in line with the Chinese government's 'One Belt One Road' concept, according to China's Three Gorges University's Dean of Art Faculty, Tian Jigao.
The art exhibition has showcased a total of 30 artworks by three professors in the Three Georges University, namely-Zhou Chauanfa, Wei Mongguo and Xiang Shiping .
Prof Dr Krishna Prasad Adhikari expressed his confidence that the exhibition would coordinate efforts in exchange of artworks between Nepal and China.
The exhibition is organized by the Nepal Fine Art Forum, Nepal Fine Art Journalists Society and Three Georges University of China.
The three professors would also impart training on artworks through the usage of technology to the artists and fine art students. RSS
