China pledges Yuan 200 m in grant assistance

KATHMANDU, March 23: China has committed to provide assistance worth to 200 m Chinese yuan assistance to Nepal Army (NA).

KATHMANDU, March 23: China has pledged  Yuan 200 million  in grant assistance to the Nepal Army (NA) on Thursday. 


Visiting Chinese Defense Minister Chang Wanquan expressed the commitment to provide the financial assistance to the NA at a meeting with Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal at the latter's official residence, Baluwatar this afternoon. The deal will be signed on Friday.

Likewise, the Chinese side has taken the scheduled visit of Prime Minister Dahal with high priority, said Rishi Adhikari, Foreign Affairs Advisor of PM Dahal. 


Meanwhile, Chinese Defense Minister Chang is holding a meeting with his counterpart Bal Krishna Khand at Singha Durbar.
