KATHMANDU, The Children Art Museum Nepal (CAM Nepal) is set to host the second Hogwarts Express, an annual Harry Potter-themed event. The fundraising event, inspired by the Harry Potter books and movies, will be held on Saturday from 12pm-7pm at the Godavari Alumni Association (GAA) hall in Thamel.

According to a press statement issued by CAM Nepal, the event will include various paid and free activities like making wands, crafting potions and creating charms. Likewise, Harry Potter-themed quills, screen-printed t-shirts from blockout, and desserts from Nana’s Delight will be available on purchase at the event.

The press statement further stated that Harry Potter fanatics (only adults) will conduct a Triwizard Trivia Tournament to test their knowledge of the books and movies in a quiz competition to see who the biggest superfan is.

Tickets are priced Rs 250 and are available at the following venues: The Children’s Art Museum of Nepal (Hattisar), Flat Iron Grill at Hotel Ambassador (Lainchaur), GAA Hall (Thamel), Little Things (Arun Thapa Chowk), and The Local Project in Jhamsikhel. The online ticketing partner for this event is Khalti Digital Wallet.

The Children’s Art Museum Nepal provides children and youth a safe space to express themselves through creative activities that have an educational component to it.

Fundraisers like the Hogwarts Express help CAM fulfill its goal of bringing art to all children.
