KATHMANDU, Dec 29: Chief Minister of Province 3 Dormani Poudel sacked Deputy Parliamentary Party Leader Salikram Jamarkattel and the party’s whip Buddhiman Majhi on Tuesday.
According to Prakash Dahal, Press Advisor to CM, Poudel sacked Jamarkattel and Majhi in his capacity as the party’s parliamentary leader.
Both the sacked leaders are close to Puspha Kamal Dahal-led faction of the Nepal Communist Party (NCP).
The decision of Chief Minister Poudel comes at a time when the NCP factions led by K P Oli and Dahal have been sacking party leaders close to their rival faction as the NCP sees a vertical split.
