KATHMANDU, Dec 25: Bagmati Province Chief Minister Rajendra Pandey expanded his cabinet for the fourth time on Friday. Chief Minister Pandey on Friday inducted three ministers and three ministers of state in his cabinet. 

The newly-appointed Minister and Ministers of State took oath of office and secrecy at a ceremony held at the office of the Province Chief on Friday evening.

Chief Minister Pandey appointed Balram Poudel as Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Milan Babu Shrestha as Minister for Industry, Commerce and Supplies and Dipendra Shrestha as Minister for Culture and Tourism. Similarly, he appointed Sant Bahadur Praja as Minister of State for Physical Infrastructure Development, Kalpana Nepali as Minister of State for Health and Rajni Amatya Jonche as Minister of State for Industry, Commerce and Supplies.

All of them are members of the Provincial Assembly from Nepali Congress (NC). With this expansion, the number of Chief Ministers and Ministers in Bagmati province has reached 18.
