Chief Attorney of Province 1 Acharya takes oath of office and secrecy

KATHMANDU, Jan 26: Chief Attorney  of Province 1 Gajendra Acharya, who is a senior advocate, took the oath of office and secrecy on Wednesday. 

Acting Chief Judge of Biratnagar High Court Satya Mohan Joshi Tharu administered the oath to 

Acharya at the office of the provincial head of Province 1.

Acharya was appointed as Chief Attorney of Province 1 by Province Chief Parshuram Khapung on Wednesday upon the recommendation of Province 1 Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki.

Provincial Chief Parshuram Khapung, Chief Minister Hikmat Kumar Karki and other high-ranking officials were present at the oath taking ceremony. Acharya is a resident of Kamal Rural Municipality of Jhapa.
