DHANGADHI, Feb 24: A hat-trick from Bibek Chaudhary helped Simara’s Nava Jagriti Youth Club advance into the quarterfinals of the ongoing fourth Sudur Paschim International Invitational Khaptad Gold Cup with a comfortable 4-0 win over Madan Bhandari Sports Club in Dhangadhi on Sunday.

In the third match of the tournament played at the Dhangadhi Stadium, Chaudhary scored three goals in the second half as the winning team totally dominated Madan Bhandari to win the game comfortably and make its way to the last eight.

Nava Jagriti took the lead in the 51st minute through substitute Sagar Chaudhary as he scored from the counter-attack for the team.  The team doubled its lead just six minutes later as Bibek took advantage of a mistake from the Madan Bhandari defense and goalkeeper. With that, it looked comfortable to win the game and make its way forward in the tournament, but the team was not done yet.  Bibek then completed his brace in the 72nd minute to make the score 3-0 and converted a 82nd-minute penalty to seal a convincing 4-0 win for the team with a hat-trick.
