Chance of light rain in hilly areas today

KATHMANDU, April 10: The weather in the plain areas is generally clear, with partial change in the hilly areas of the country.

The Meteorological Forecasting Division of the Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has informed Republica that the weather will be clear in the rest of the hilly areas today.

In the afternoon, there is a possibility of light rain with thunder and lightning at one or two places in Gandaki, Karnali, and far western hilly areas.

The weather will remain generally clear in the rest of the country tonight with partly cloudy skies over the hilly areas of the country.
