KATHMANDU, July 6: A meeting of the Central Committee of the CPN (Maoist Center) is being held today. At the meeting to be held at Pragya Bhawan Kamaladi at 1 pm today, Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal is scheduled to answer the questions raised by the party leaders.

Earlier, the state in-charges / chairpersons had expressed their views in the first day's meeting on July 3 and the central members in the meeting on July 4. In the meeting, the participants argued that the upcoming election should be contested by the coalition alone, the intra-party deception in the local elections should be investigated and the office bearers should be decided from this meeting. 

Among the nine agendas put forward in the first day's meeting was the formation of office bearers, standing committee and politburo. The decision could not be taken due to dispute among leaders over the powerful post of General Secretary. Similarly, the Maoists have made preparations to end the meeting today.
