KATHMANDU, March 24: Chinese Defense Minister General Chang Wanquan is scheduled to meet with Chief of the Army Staff (CoAS) of the Nepal Army (NA) Rajendra Chhetri, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi and President Bidhya Devi Bhandari on Friday.
Meeting between Chang and CoAS concludes
The meeting with Chief of Army Staff has been fixed at 10 am while the meetings with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Home Affairs Bimalendra Nidhi and President Bidhya Bhandari have been scheduled for 3 pm and 4 pm respectively.
Accompanied by a 19- member delegation, Chang arrived in Kathmandu yesterday on a three day official visit to Nepal at the invitation of Defense Minister Balkrishna Khand. He met with Prime Minister Dahal and his counterpart Balkrishna Khand yesterday.
