KATHMANDU, July 1: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) has filed charge sheet against four persons including an engineer of Office of the Drinking Water and Sanitation Division, Makawanpur, at the Special Court, today.

The case was filed against engineer Ramesh Maharjan, Chairman of Devidanda Drinking Water Users' Committee, Bhagwat Ghimire, and Secretary Gopal Timilsina.

A special team of CIAA had arrested them few days ago while taking bribe of Rs 45,000.

CIAA Spokesperson Krishnahari Puskar said that case was filed demanding maximum punishment.

Similarly, a case was filed against Assistant Sub-Inspector Harinath Prasad at the Special Court for possessing fake educational certificate.

Harinath has been working at the Area Police Office, Hajariya, Sarlahi. RSS
