KANCHANPUR, Sept 13: Eight Nepali nationals heading home from Banbasa Bazaar across the border in India were robbed on Monday evening. 



The Nepali nationals were robbed by the mule-drawn cart entrepreneurs. The Indian cart pullers had assured the Nepali nationals of a transportation service from Banbasa of India to Mahendranagar in Nepal, but robbed them after crossing the Mahakali bridge. 



Nepali citizens Jivan Bohara, Bir Bahadur Bohara, Kamal Negi, Amar BK, Janaki Bista and Jhapat Rawal were robbed, Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Lal Bahadur Budayer of Area Police Office, Gaddachowki said. 



The high officials of both the countries have held repeated meetings on ending such incidents but have failed to control the crime. RSS
