Canada willing for resettling the quake victims

KATHMANDU, May 18: Canada has shown interest for the integrated resettlement of the quake victims of Nepal.

After following the meeting with Nepali Congress vice-president Ram Chandra Poudel at his residence in the capital today, Canadian officials said that they were ready for the resettlement programs for the quake victims as per the guideline and need of Nepal government.


The Canadian Deputy Director for South Asia Sean Robert-led team met the NC vice-president Poudel and shared their plan for supporting the quake victims. The resettlement programs would be of three stages like rescue, relief and reconstruction, he added.

After following the meeting, NC vice-president Poudel said that the Canada was ready for supporting the quake victims. RSS
