KATHMANDU, Feb 1: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has lifted the suspension of former captain of the men’s national cricket team, Sandeep Lamichhane.
The CAN board meeting held in Pokhara on Tuesday decided to lift the suspension of former captain Lamichhane.
Lamichhane, who was suspended after the police investigation started against him on rape charges, is eligible to play cricket for the national team again after five months.
After Lamichhane was released from jail by the Patan High Court, CAN had started discussions on lifting his suspension.
