Campion wins Inter-college Futsal

KATHMANDU, June 25: Campion College lifted the title of the First Oxy Inter-college Futsal Tournament (ICFC) defeating King's College 5-2 in the summit clash held at Shankhamul Futsal Ground, on Saturday.

Champion Campion took home Rs 50,000 while the runner-up King's College was rewarded with Rs 20,000. 

The tournament organized by Oxy Face Wash featured 16 colleges from the Kathmandu Valley. The competition which began on June 3 was played in league-cum-knockout format with quarterfinal, semifinal and final matches held every Saturday and Sunday.    

Meanwhile, Unish Awale of Campion became the highest goal scorer and pocketed Rs 10,000 while the best goalkeepeing award went to Ankit Shrestha of King's College, who also received the same amount.
