MUGU, April 13: The fifth cabinet meeting of Karnali province held on Friday on the shores of Rara Lake in Mugu named the Surkhet-Hilsa road section as the ' Prime Minister International Expressway'.
The meeting was chaired by Prime Minister KP Oli. The expressway will connect Birendranagar, the capital of Province 6, with Hilsa, of Humla. Besides this, the cabinet meeting decided to extend the Surkhet-Dailekh-Jumla road section up to Nakchenangla of Mugu and Surkhet-Jajarkot road section to Dho of Dolpa.
The cabinet also announced to form 'Karnali Tourism Authority' for promoting tourism in the province, according to the spokesperson of Province 6, Bimala KC.
