KATHMANDU, July 15: Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba has summoned a Cabinet meeting for 2PM on Thursday.
The meeting is scheduled to be held at the Singha Durbar-based Office of Prime Minister and Council of Ministers (OPMCM) and will discuss regular agendas.
It is the second meeting of the Deuba-led Cabinet after Nepali Congress (NC)’s Deuba was appointed the prime minister as per Article 76 (5) on Tuesday following a mandamus issued by the constitutional bench at the Supreme Court.
Through its first meeting on Tuesday evening, the Cabinet decided to vaccinate all eligible people against COVID-19 by mid-April, 2022.
The Deuba Cabinet now has only five members including him. The other Cabinet members include two ministers ---Bal Krishna Khand (Home Minister) and Gynendra Bahadur Karki (Law Minister)--- from the NC and two others --- Pampha Bhusal (Energy Minister) and Janardan Sharma (Finance Minister)-- from the CPN (Maoist Center).
