Cabinet approves budget for FY 2022/23

KATHMANDU, May 29: A Cabinet meeting on Sunday approved the budget for the fiscal year 2022/23. Finance Minister Janardan Sharma will be shortly delivering his budget speech at a joint parliament meeting today.

Parliament has already approved the Policies and Programs presented as a prelude to the budget presentation. The government is announcing an expected Rs 1.7 trillion expenditure for the next fiscal year.
