Gyanendralal Pradhan, executive member of IPPAN and a hydropower investor, assured the committee that they would support the master plan. He also said IPPAN would display models of all the hydropower projects at the living museum.
Energy secretary Shankar Prasad Koirala also assured necessary help to implement the master plan.
Chandra Jyoti Griha at Pharping was established in 1911 by then PM Chandra Shumsher.
Tranquility launches spa training
KATHMANDU, May 25: With the aim of producing skilled manpower for spa therapy sector, Tranquility Beauty Academy (TBA) is organizing six-month diploma on Spa and Beauty Therapy. The training will begin from the first week of June.
"We have three types of training - six-month diploma costing Rs 50,000, three-month basic training costing Rs 30,000 and one-month crash course costing Rs 20,000 for those going abroad," Bhuwan Phaiju, chairman of Tranquility Spa, told a press meet on Tuesday.
This training will give 100 percent job opportunities to the trainees, TBA said in a statement. "At present we don´t have skilled manpower in this field and this training will help in producing manpower who can work in national and international level," the statement added.
