URLABARI (Morang), Oct 4: A pedestrian was killed after getting rammed by a bus at Sundardulari – 10 along the East-West Highway last night. 

The bus with registration plate no, Na 4 Kha 7866, and heading east from west hit Umesh Chaudhary, 50, of the same locality. Chaudhary, who sustained fatal injuries, died in course of treatment at the BP Koirala Institute of Health Sciences in Dharan, said Inspector, Meghraj Thapa, of Area Police Office, Belbari. 

The police have detained the driver and impounded the bus involved in the incident
