Bus carrying wedding procession torched in Kailali

KATHMANDU, March 14: The Netra Bikram Chand led Nepal Communist Party torched a bus carrying a wedding procession at Kailali. The bus, Me 1 Kha 441 had escaped the police’s escort along the East-West highway at Badaipur jungle at 4 AM.
“We were escorting the vehicles for safety. However, it escaped the police saying it was a ‘wedding procession bus’. In a couple of minutes, it was torched,” SP Abhushan Timilsina, chief of Kailali District Police Office said.
There however were no casualties as the party had ordered the passengers to get off the bus. Police have arrested three suspects involved in the incident.
