KATHMANDU, Aug 25: A bus carrying Nepali pilgrims met with an accident in the Indian state of Bihar. Indian media reports that more than 35 passengers have been injured in the accident.


The bus accident occurred on Sunday near the Musrigharari intersection in Samastipur, Bihar. It has been reported that the injured are being treated at the district hospital and a private clinic in Musrigharari.

It is reported that the bus accident occurred after a speeding truck hit its rear tire. The impact caused the bus's axle to break, resulting in the bus overturning on the road due to loss of control.


Indian media reports that there were 43 passengers on the bus. It is understood that the passengers are from Bara district.
