Bullying in schools

Bullying in schools

Bullying is about a student gaining strength from fear, acting like the boss, scaring the students and at times hurting them. Students are bullied by being called bad names, being threatened, not having friends, because of their race or color.

If a student is bullied he or she can feel depressed. They may also start hating themselves. Some kids who bully get punished. Bullies may sometimes carry weapons, smoke, drink alcohol and get into a lot of fights. Kids who see bullying happen are afraid to stand up to them. If you were to bullied would you like to go to school? Would you like to learn? I know you would hate yourself.

I think the bullies feel bigger when they bully someone. Sometimes when bullying is taken to the extreme, some students might even consider committing suicide.

For a child to carry the label of being bullied is akin to carrying a prison sentence that can haunt his or her school life. “Help stop bullying.” Don’t be afraid to break the law of silence, stand up and speak out.
