Buddha Air adds 19th ATR aircraft to its fleet

Buddha Air has introduced its 19th ATR aircraft, a new ATR-72 series model, which was brought in from Toulouse, France, on Friday.

KATHMANDU, Dec 7: Buddha Air has introduced its 19th ATR aircraft, a new ATR-72 series model, which was brought in from Toulouse, France, on Friday. With this addition, Buddha now operates a total of 16 ATR-72 aircraft.


The company stated in a press release that it aims to complete the paperwork and begin operating the new aircraft by the end of December. The aircraft has been assigned the callsign 9N-AOG.

Buddha Air recently bid farewell to an ATR-42-320 aircraft.


As part of its commitment to making air travel more accessible and convenient, the company has added the new aircraft to its fleet, said the press statement. Currently, Buddha Air operates more than 140 domestic flights daily.
