KATHMANDU, June 24: Former Finance Minister Madhukar SJB Rana has said that the separation of Britain from the European Union (EU) will not have any economic and financial impact on Nepal.
"There will be no economic and financial impact of Britian's exit from EU. I don't think aid to Nepal will be impacted, either, on this 200th year of friendship celebration,” Madhukar SJB Rana told Republica Online.

Rana further said that the time will show whether the Commonwealth of Nations, UN, WTO will get more emphasis than regional blocs and the special relation with the US.
The United Kingdom has existed from the European Union (EU) it joined 40 years ago.
