KATHMANDU, May 27: Nepal Army has lost a high-ranking official to COVID-19.
According to Nepal Army Spokesperson Brigadier General Santosh Ballav Paudel, Brigadier General Dinesh Kumar KC died of COVID-19 while undergoing treatment at Birendra Military Hospital in Chhauni, Kathmandu, on Thursday morning.
Late KC was serving as the head of NA's 13 Number Battalion in Lagankhel. He was admitted to the hospital some one month ago after he contracted the virus. He was kept on a ventilator after his health condition deteriorated within days after he was admitted to the hospital.
