KATHMANDU, July 6: Finance Minister Janardhan Sharma has resigned from his post on Wednesday.
His resignation comes amid allegation that he had employed 'unauthorized' persons to tweak tax rates in the annual budget presented in parliament.
The main opposition and the ruling parties have agreed to form an 11-member parliamentary probe committee to investigate the case.
