BP's Reconciliation Theory still very significant: Minister Mahat

CHITWAN, Dec 31: Minister for Foreign Affairs, Dr Prakash Sharan Mahat, has said that BP Koirala's Reconciliation Theory is very significant in the present context to make the nationality stronger. 

At a seminar organised by the Democratic Thought Society, Chitwan, here today on the occasion of the 41st National Reconciliation Day, Minister Mahat said that BP's Reconciliation Theory has the message that the country should be run through the same rule, not all should have same thoughts. 

Saying changing the society through rule of law was the need of hour, he expressed the view that it was necessary to hold discussion on development issues rather political matters. 

Similarly, President of Nepal Women's Association, Uma Regmi, said that the Reconciliation Theory should be brought into practice and added that necessity of BP's Reconciliation Theory has been increasing. 

On the occasion, NC Chitwan President Jit Narayan Shrestha, lawmaker Ram Krishna Ghimire, Central Secretary at the Democratic Thought Society, Dr Ishwori Laudari, Prof Dr Devi Prasad Kandel, among others shed lights on the importance of national reconciliation. RSS
