Bombs found at two schools in Rupandehi and Nawalprasi

BUTWAL, May 9: Explosive devices have been found in two schools in Rupandehi and Nawalparasi districts.



The bombs were found in Paroha Higher Secondary School in Rupandehi and Saraswoti Higher Secondary in Mainaghat of Nawalparasi district.[break]



Examination of Class 12 was halted for one hour after the bomb was found in the school gate in Paroha. The students were terrorized after a pressure cooker bomb was found.



The culprit behind the planting of the bomb is not known, said Area Police Office Butwal DSP Rajkumar Baidawar, and informed that the investigation was underway.



The Nepal Army´s bomb disposal team will dispose the bomb after the examination.



Likewise, a banner bomb at Saraswoti Higher Secondary School Mainaghat in Nawalparasi was aimed at the Integrated Mobile Team deputed for citizenship distribution.



The bomb was in the office room and Class seven room bound by a cable, said the mobile camp.



A pamphlet found around the school says it was aimed against the four-party alliance and against giving citizenships to 3.5 million Indians, but it is not revealed who planted it, said police.
