CHITWAN, Dec 3: A bomb has gone off at the office premises of Bharatpur metropolitan city-5 on Saturday night. The explosion damaged Red Cross society Narayanpur, Sub-section office building.


According to spokesperson DSP Prabhu Dhakal, Chitwan District Police Office, the bomb exploded at around 2:00 am today.

“We heard an explosion sound at night. When we went in the morning, the window glasses of Red Cross building were all broken” said Shiva Sapkota, Secretary, Red Cross, Narayanpur.


The ward office and nearby houses also suffered damage, ward Chair Padampani Subedi said.


Few days back an explosive device was found nearby Subedi’s residence which was diffused by Nepal army bomb disposal team.
