SARLAHI, Nov 25: An unidentified gang has exploded a bomb in the house of Minister of State for Livestock Development Shambhu Lal Shrestha on early Saturday.
A pressure cooker bomb was detonated targeting the house of State Minister Shrestha based in Ranigunj in Lalbandi municipality-17 at 5 am today.
The rear compound wall of the house has been damaged by the explosion, informed Police Inspector Shekh Adalath of Area Police Office, Lalbandi.
State Minister Shrestha is the candidate for the House of Representatives from the Nepali Congress from Sarlahi Constituency-1.
State Minister Shrestha was at home when the bomb went off.
