KATHMANDU, July 19: Blitz Media in partnership with Humanity United has released 'Nepal Labor Migration Research Study - 2022'. The research study was made public in the presence of government representatives, embassy representatives, INGOs and experts.
In the event, Humanity United’s Senior Manager Mahendra Pandey said that the research is based on the data and stories of individuals rather than the government or other organizations and the research will help to look at labor migration from a different angle.
Nepal Labour Migration Report 2022 launched
Representing the Ministry of Labor, Employment and Social Security, Deepak Kafle pointed out the efforts made by the Ministry for labor migrants in Nepal and said that there is a need for this kind of research. Stating that labor migrants are the real heroes in saving Nepal from economic disaster, he said that such reports will face various challenges of labor migrants.
The research explores various issues affecting the Nepalese immigrant population and their families under three different research headings.
