Bishnupaduka wins Baglung Gold Cup

BAGLUNG, Jan 21: Bishnupaduka Youth Club, Hemja, Kaski has lifted the Baglung goldcup football tournament trophy.

In the final match held at the local Bangechaur sports ground on Friday, Bishnupaduka defeated Future Bright sports Club, Baglung by 3-1 to take home the gold cup. 

Along with the gold cup, the Bishnupaduka club also won one hundred thousand rupees in cash prize. The runner-up pocketed fifty thousand rupees. 

A total of 13 teams had competed in the event organized by the Dalit Youth Network, Baglung coinciding with the Maghe Sankranti festival. The event will be continued in the coming year too, according to the Network Chair in Baglung Raj Kumar Basel. RSS
