Bir Hospital to be shifted to Duwakot

KATHMANDU, July 22: A Cabinet meeting held in Singha Durbar on Friday decided to construct a spectacular building for Bir Hospital in the area stretching over 700 ropanis of land at Duwakot in Bhaktapur district.

The government took this decision in line with the Fiscal Budget 2016/17 that pledges to upgrade Bir Hospital to the level of international standard.

The Cabinet meeting has decided to finalize the land in Duwakot for the hospital today itself.

Similarly, the meeting also decided to assign the Nepal Army to guard the uranium recently discovered in Mustang district.

The   meeting has also passed the National Mass Communication Policy 2016.
