Police arrest local leaders of Chand-led NCP in Jumla

JUMLA, July 22: Police have arrested two district leaders of Chand-led Nepal Communist Party (NCP) on Monday.

The arrested were identified as district secretary of NCP Birkha Bahadur Shahi and NCP's Youth Organization district bureau in-charge Bakhat Bahadur Bista. Police arrested them from Hima rural municipality.

The district administration has stepped up security in Jumla amid tension caused by the Chand-led NCP.
